A new version of the USC Entrepreneurs’ Fair was launched this year where the interface among BS Entrepreneurship freshmen students and 18 social entrepreneurs (SEs) was showcased. The students managed their partner SEs’ stalls during the 3 day fair held last March 27 to 29, 2019 at Ayala Center Cebu and ensured that daily sales target were reached giving them a much needed hands on experience of managing an enterprise. Beyond operational efficiency and marketing prowess, the students had a foretaste of doing business where the primary concern was the welfare of a community or of the environment.
These SEs are participants of the accelerator program of the SBE CSE and are affiliates of SBE’s partner institutions: USC Kapamilya Negosyo Na program and RAFI Microfinance. Also featured in the Fair was JPIC in celebration of its 20th founding anniversary.
USC Entrepreneurs’ Fair is a semestral activity of the BS Entrepreneurship Program which is recognized as a Commission on Higher Education Center of Excellence (CHED COE).
